Former Arsenal defender, William Gallas believes Ollie Watkins would be a good fit for the Gunner.

In an interview with Lord Ping, Gallas talked about why he believes Watkins would succeed in North London and which current Arsenal player would benefit the most from Watkins potential transfer.

Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa is a player I like for Arsenal, he stated.”He has the necessary pace to be a striker, and it would be amazing to have a guy like Martin Odegaard behind him—just imagine all the assists.”

It’s so difficult to defend against players like Ollie Watkins because he’s so clever with his runs, with Odegaard they would do so much damage. He would be my choice if I were at Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Ollie Watkins scored the 90th-minute goal that sealed England’s semi-final victory, advancing the Three Lions to the final. Watkins may have another chance to show himself on Sunday when England faces Spain in Berlin in the Euro2024 final.
