Tomas Rosicky reacts to speculation about a potential return to Arsenal as the club’s sporting director.

Tomas Rosicky’s potential return to Arsenal as sporting director has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks. The former Arsenal midfielder, who currently serves as the sporting director for Sparta Prague, has been linked with the role following the departure of Edu in November.

Rosicky, affectionately known as “The Little Mozart” during his playing days, has addressed these rumors in a recent interview with Livesport Daily Podcast. He expressed his honor at being considered for such a prestigious position but clarified that he has not received any formal offer from Arsenal. “It’s always flattering to be linked with a club like Arsenal, where I spent some of the best years of my career,” Rosicky said. “However, I have not received any official communication from the club regarding the sporting director role.”

The Gunners are reportedly looking to hire a new sporting director as soon as next month, and Rosicky’s name has been mentioned frequently. Despite the speculation, Rosicky remains committed to his current role at Sparta Prague, where he has been instrumental in the club’s recent successes.

While the search for a new sporting director continues, it is unclear whether Rosicky will return to North London. For now, the former Czech international is focused on his duties at Sparta Prague, leaving Arsenal supporters to speculate on what could be a significant appointment for the club’s future.
