Tim Lewis, Arsenal executive vice-chair, is set to leave his position in a significant change to the club’s leadership. This exclusive update, first reported by David Ornstein, marks a major shift in the governance of the Premier League side.

Tim Lewis is a 62-year-old corporate lawyer who has advised Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) since 2007. Josh Kroenke’s Role Expands

As Lewis steps down, Josh Kroenke, 45, continues to play a prominent role at Arsenal. He has steadily increased his involvement in recent years and plans to take on even more responsibility as the club evolves.

Arsenal promotes current managing director Richard Garlick to Chief Executive Officer. This move aligns with the club’s strategy to streamline executive operations and strengthen football administration.

New Additions to Arsenal’s Board

KSE deepens its connection with Arsenal by adding two more Kroenke family representatives to the board. The club also welcomes a long-term advisor and Ben Winston—a film producer, director, and lifelong Arsenal supporter. Winston brings a fresh creative perspective to Arsenal’s leadership team.

This leadership reshuffle is part of Arsenal’s broader plan to modernize its governance and deepen its ties with ownership. With new faces entering the boardroom and key figures stepping aside, the club is preparing for a new era—one that blends tradition with innovation.
