Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey may not be leaving the club this summer. According to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, the Ghanaian international’s future at the Emirates Stadium looks more secure than previously thought.
Romano, speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside, revealed that there has been little movement regarding Partey’s potential transfer. “As things stand, Thomas Partey is not looking close to leaving Arsenal. There are no substantial updates on the midfielder despite some rumors earlier in the window,” Romano stated.
Earlier in the summer, there were strong indications that Partey could be on his way out, with interest from Saudi Pro League clubs. However, these speculations did not materialize into concrete offers. Romano noted that the Saudi clubs were waiting to finalize their budgets before making any moves, but nothing advanced beyond that stage.
Despite his injury struggles last season, where he managed only 16 appearances in all competitions, Partey remains a key player for Mikel Arteta’s side. His presence in the midfield provides stability and experience, qualities that are crucial for Arsenal’s ambitions in the upcoming season.
With the transfer window still open, there is always a possibility of last-minute changes. However, as it stands, Thomas Partey is set to continue his journey with Arsenal.
