Milan Arsenal talks intensify as AC Milan negotiates deals for Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior in a bold defensive overhaul.

AC Milan are making moves in the transfer market, setting their sights on not just one but two Arsenal stars. Milan Arsenal talks are reportedly underway as the Italian giants aim to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko alongside Jakub Kiwior, strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.

Following a disappointing eighth-place finish last season, Milan are eager to rebuild their backline under newly reappointed manager Massimiliano Allegri. With Theo Hernandez in talks to join Atletico Madrid, the Rossoneri have identified Zinchenko as a potential replacement at left-back. However, negotiations have hit a stumbling block due to the Ukrainian’s £150,000-a-week wages, which could prove problematic for Milan’s budget.

Meanwhile, Milan are also interested in Jakub Kiwior, who stepped up impressively for Arsenal last season when Gabriel Magalhães was sidelined with a hamstring injury. The Polish defender has shown his versatility, playing a crucial role in Arsenal’s Champions League campaign, but it remains uncertain whether Mikel Arteta is willing to let him go.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are reportedly exploring other options at center-back, with Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi among their targets. The club has already seen Kieran Tierney return to Celtic and Nuno Tavares complete a permanent move to Lazio, while Jorginho has left for Flamengo.

Talks between Milan and Arsenal continue as the Italian club works to finalize the double deal. Milan believe they can secure Zinchenko for less than €15 million, but financial constraints could complicate the transfer. As discussions progress, the club must decide whether they can afford both players or if they will prioritize one over the other.

With the transfer window heating up, all eyes will be on Milan and Arsenal to see how these negotiations unfold. Will Zinchenko and Kiwior make the move to Serie A, or will Arsenal hold onto their defensive assets? Time will tell.
