The transfer of Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal is currently experiencing a delay due to negotiations between Bologna and Calafiori’s former club Basel regarding the 50% sell-on clause included in his move to Bologna last summer.

The Italian defender is on the verge of joining Arsenal after agreeing to personal terms with the Gunners, but Bologna haven’t yet agreed to sell the 22-year-old.
