The Gunners booked their Champions League quarter-final tie against either Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid after a 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium, securing a 9-3 aggregate win.
Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven drew 2-2 at the Emirates Stadium, sending the Gunners through to the Champions League quarter-finals with a 9-3 aggregate victory.
Arsenal started the match with a much-changed lineup, having already secured a commanding 7-1 lead from the first leg. The Gunners took an early lead in the 6th minute when Oleksandr Zinchenko, playing in midfield, scored a superb goal from outside the box after a clever pass from Raheem Sterling.
Arsenal regained the lead in the 37th minute when Declan Rice headed home a pinpoint cross from Sterling, making it 2-1 at halftime.
The second half saw both teams create numerous chances, but it was PSV who found the back of the net again. In the 70th minute, Couhaib Driouech lifted a fine finish over Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya to level the score at 2-2.
Despite the draw, Arsenal’s aggregate lead ensured their progression to the quarter-finals, where they will face either Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid.
