Real Madrid have no interest in allowing Arda Guler to exit the club, whether temporarily or permanently, despite rumors suggesting that Arsenal are in talks with the midfielder’s representatives regarding a potential transfer.
Real Madrid have firmly stated that they have no intention of allowing young midfielder Arda Guler to leave the club, either on a temporary or permanent basis. This comes amid recent rumours that Arsenal have been in contact with Guler’s camp regarding a potential move for the talented 19-year-old.
Reports from Spain last week suggested that Arsenal were closely monitoring Arda Guler’s situation and had discussions with his representatives to assess his availability ahead of the January transfer window.
The Gunners reportedly viewed Guler’s current predicament as similar to Martin Ødegaard’s situation when he left Real Madrid for Arsenal three years ago, seeking more regular playing time.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that Arsenal, or any other club interested in Guler, will find it challenging to negotiate with Madrid for the young playmaker. Romano revealed on his YouTube channel that in the last three to four weeks, two non-Spanish European clubs approached Real Madrid about Guler, but were rejected.
According to Romano, Real Madrid has consistently declined any offers for Guler, whether for a loan or a permanent transfer, reaffirming their belief in his potential. As such, Real Madrid has no interest in entertaining discussions about Guler’s departure, and he will remain with the club.
Guler, who joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce last summer, has shown flashes of brilliance but has struggled to secure regular playing time due to injuries and the preference for more experienced players. Despite this, Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s head coach, has emphasized the club’s commitment to nurturing Guler’s talent.
“Arda has contributed a lot when it comes to creativity in the final third,” Ancelotti said after Guler’s impressive performance in a recent match against Leganes. “We need everyone going forward, especially with the demands of the games being so high.”
The Spanish giants have rejected multiple offers from other clubs, including Arsenal, who are reportedly keen on bringing Guler to the Premier League. Ancelotti’s stance is clear: Guler is a valuable long-term asset, and Real Madrid is determined to see his development through.
