Raheem Sterling has joined Arsenal on a season-long loan from Chelsea. The English forward, who found himself surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, is eager to make his mark under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, his former coach at Manchester City.

Sterling expressed his excitement about reuniting with Arteta and joining a motivated Arsenal squad. “It’s a perfect fit for me to be at a club like this, where you can see the hunger and desire to improve year on year,” Sterling said in his first interview as an Arsenal player. “I’ve seen the real togetherness and the journey the boys are on, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.”

Arteta, who played a significant role in Sterling’s development during their time together at Manchester City, is equally thrilled to have the winger on board. “Raheem is a top character and a top player. His experience and quality will be invaluable to us as we push for success this season,” Arteta commented.
