Martin Odegaard expressed his frustration over the team’s inability to secure a victory. The Gunners, who dominated large portions of the match, were left to rue missed opportunities and a disallowed goal that could have changed the outcome.

Arsenal found themselves trailing early on after Raul Jimenez capitalized on a through ball to put Fulham ahead. The Gunners struggled to find their rhythm in the first half, with Odegaard admitting that the team was “a bit sloppy” and lacked the necessary energy and power.

The second half saw a marked improvement from Arsenal. William Saliba’s equalizer brought hope, and the team pushed hard for a winner. However, a late goal by Bukayo Saka was disallowed by VAR, leaving the Gunners with just a point from the encounter.

Reflecting on the match, Odegaard highlighted the team’s need to focus on their own performance rather than the results of other teams in the title race. “We dominated most of the game. The first half wasn’t great. We were a bit sloppy and lacked energy and power. The second half was a lot better. It’s frustrating not to win. We were close in the end with the goal,” he said.

Odegaard emphasized the importance of learning from this experience and improving in future matches. “We did a lot of good things. We have to do more and put the ball in the box more times. Maybe be a bit more direct and aggressive. We could have won it in the end,” he added.

Despite the disappointment, Odegaard remains optimistic about Arsenal’s prospects. He reiterated the need for the team to take it one game at a time and maintain their focus. “It’s a very long way to go. We’ve said hundreds of times we have to keep going game by game,” he concluded.
