Norway manager Stale Solbakken has expressed optimism about Martin Odegaard’s potential return for next month’s international fixtures. Odegaard, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury since September, is making good progress in his recovery.

Solbakken told VG, “Everything indicates that things are going according to plan. It’s now about the final steps—training with opponents and in team training. It depends on how he responds to that, but we have a legitimate hope that he is ready.

Odegaard’s absence has been felt both by Norway and Arsenal, with the midfielder missing several key matches. However, his recent individual training and use of an anti-gravity treadmill have been promising signs of his recovery.

Norway is set to face Slovenia and Kazakhstan in the Nations League in November, and Solbakken is eager to have Odegaard’s leadership on the pitch. Arsenal fans are also hopeful that Odegaard will be back in time for their crucial fixtures before the international break.

The coming weeks will be crucial for Odegaard’s fitness, and both Norway and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on his progress.
