Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his thoughts on the club’s upcoming challenge in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Arsenal has been drawn against Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, and Arteta has nothing but praise for their opponents.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League match against West Ham United, Arteta said, “They’re really good. We’ve played against them before, and we know how tough they can be. It’s going to be a very difficult match, but we’re ready for the challenge.”
Arteta emphasized the importance of preparation and focus as Arsenal gears up for the crucial knockout stage. “We need to be at our best to progress further in the competition,” he added. “It’s going to be a test of our character and resilience, but I believe in this team and our ability to rise to the occasion.”
The Gunners will be looking to advance past the last-16 stage for the first time since the 2016-17 season, and Arteta is confident that his squad has what it takes to make a deep run in the tournament.
