The Arsenal defender underwent a successful surgery.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided a positive update on Ben White’s recovery following his recent knee surgery. The surgery, which took place earlier this month, was deemed a success, and White is now on the road to recovery.
Arteta revealed, “The surgery went really well. There has been no reaction after that. He is improving day by day, but it is a process for the first four to six weeks, where we have to be really cautious and don’t put any stress on that knee.”
Arteta emphasized the need for caution during the initial recovery period. “We have to be really cautious and don’t put any stress on that knee. Then we will see how quickly he can recover and how it reacts after that.”
White’s absence is a significant blow to Arsenal, given his importance to the team’s defensive lineup. However, Arteta remains optimistic about White’s return. “We don’t expect him to be out for half a season or a year, but I cannot tell you exactly.”
