The Teenagers’ assistance could potentially ease the Gunners’ injury problem.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that it will be difficult for young talent Max Dowman to make his Premier League debut this season due to league restrictions. Despite Arsenal’s ongoing injury crisis, Dowman, who is only 15 years old, is not eligible to play in the Premier League as competition rules state that players in match-day squads cannot be from a lower age group than the Under-16s.
Arteta expressed his frustration with the situation, saying, “We had Max, we had many other kids as well there [in Dubai]. It was a big opportunity for us to see them in our environment. It’s clear the rules on age and restrictions at the moment and very difficult to change that as well.”

With key forwards Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz out due to hamstring injuries, and Bukayo Saka also sidelined, Arsenal is short on attacking options. Ethan Nwaneri, Leandro Trossard, and Raheem Sterling are currently the only fit forwards available.
Despite the challenges, Arteta remains positive and is focused on finding solutions to keep the team competitive. Arsenal will be back in action on Saturday when they face Leicester, and Arteta is hopeful that the team can close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
