Arsenal conquered their recent scoring struggles with a resounding 7-1 victory over PSV in a historic Champions League match in Eindhoven.

The Gunners came out of the gates with intent, showcasing their attacking prowess from the onset. In the 17th minute, Jurrien Timber opened the scoring with a towering header. The momentum continued as Ethan Nwaneri doubled the lead just three minutes later, slotting in a well-placed cross from Myles Lewis-Skelly. By the 30th minute, Arsenal had extended their lead to three, courtesy of a composed finish by Mikel Merino.

PSV managed to pull one back before halftime when Noa Lang converted a penalty following a foul by Thomas Partey on Luuk de Jong. Despite this, Arsenal entered the break with a commanding 3-1 lead.

Arsenal’s attacking onslaught resumed in the second half. Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard scored within minutes of the restart, with Odegaard adding another in the 72nd minute to complete his brace. The final goal of the night came from Riccardo Calafiori in the 84th minute, wrapping up a historic 7-1 victory.
