Manchester United and Arsenal drew 1-1 at Old Trafford in Sunday’s Women Premier League match. The match was packed with excitement and tension, with both teams giving their all to secure the three points.

Alessia Russo opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 63rd minute with a powerful header. The goal came after a well-executed build-up play, with Emily Fox racing into the box and cutting the ball back to Russo, who tucked the shot away with ease.

Manchester United responded strongly and equalized in the 82nd minute through Melvine Malard. The French forward’s goal came from a corner, with Rachel Williams rising highest to meet the cross before Malard flicked the ball past the goalkeeper just before the danger could be cleared.

The draw means that both teams share the points, with Manchester United remaining three points behind Newcastle and Chelsea in eighth place, while Arsenal moves five points clear of Chelsea, who have two games in hand.
