Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb puts them on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League last 16, thanks to goals from Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in their UEFA Champions League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night. The win all but guarantees Arsenal’s place in the knockout stages of the competition, with just one game remaining.
Declan Rice opened the scoring just two minutes into the game with a powerful half-volley after a clever lay-off by Kai Havertz. The German forward doubled Arsenal’s lead in the 66th minute with a well-placed header from a Gabriel Martinelli cross. Captain Martin Odegaard added a third goal in stoppage time, tapping home from close range after a cross from Leandro Trossard.
The victory lifts Arsenal to third place in the Champions League standings with 16 points, putting them in a strong position to skip the play-off round and advance directly to the last 16. Dinamo Zagreb, on the other hand, remains in the elimination places ahead of their final group stage match.
