Despite not being a regular starter for Arsenal, Nketiah’s potential makes him an attractive option for Marseille. The move abroad could provide him with a fresh challenge.

In recent seasons, Eddie Nketiah made a significant impact, playing an important role in Arsenal’s league pursuit, particularly after Gabriel Jesus was injured during the World Cup.

Nketiah scored in consecutive Premier League matches against West Ham and Brighton. His memorable moment came when he netted a brace, including a last-minute winner, in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium.

His form followed a strong finish in the 2021/22 campaign, where he scored five goals in seven games. However, discussions have already begun between Nketiah and Olympique de Marseille (OM), as the French club is interested in signing him.

OM previously benefited from Arsenal’s talent with the signing of Matté Guendouzi in 2022. Nketiah is open to a new challenge, and the talks are in their early stages, with positive initial contacts.

Exciting times ahead for both Nketiah and OM!
