According to Daily Mail Sport, French club Marseille are keen on bolstering their attacking options this summer and have set their sights on Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah. They are also close to securing a deal for Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood.

Marseille has also been pursuing other attacking options, such as Mason Greenwood and Hee-chan Hwang from Wolves, with discussions still ongoing with Nketiah despite their interest in Hwang according to Foot Mercato.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s imminent departure from the club may influence their ambition to make several forward signings.

Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi attempted to keep Aubameyang at the club, but it seems the former Gunner has made his decision to leave.

Marseille is aggressively searching for possible replacements in the market and has their sights set on Eddie Nketiah since Aubameyang is expected to fetch them a decent transfer fee and drastically lower their wage bill.

Arsenal are open to selling Nketiah but are expected to demand a fee in the region of £35 million.
