Manchester United faces stiff competition as Premier League rivals enter the Cunha Transfer Battle, threatening to hijack the deal for the Brazilian forward.

Manchester United’s pursuit of Matheus Cunha has hit a potential roadblock as rival clubs, including Arsenal and Newcastle United, have entered the race for Cunha transfer battle. The Red Devils were believed to be closing in on a deal for the Wolverhampton Wanderers star, but the delay in finalizing the transfer has opened the door for other suitors to make their move.

According to talkSPORT Arsenal has held fresh talks with Cunha’s representatives, signaling their intent to hijack United’s deal. The Gunners, eager to bolster their attacking options after their Champions League exit, have scheduled a meeting between their sporting director and Cunha’s camp. With personal terms still being negotiated, Arsenal’s interest could complicate matters for United.

Newcastle United has also emerged as a contender for Cunha’s signature. The Magpies, looking to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the Champions League, are closely monitoring the situation. Cunha, who has enjoyed his best goalscoring season with 15 league goals, is keen to decide his future soon.

Despite the growing competition, Manchester United remains the frontrunner for Cunha’s signature. The club is working on restructuring the player’s release clause to avoid paying the full amount upfront. However, with Arsenal and Newcastle actively pursuing the Brazilian, United must act swiftly to secure the deal before the transfer window opens.
