Declan Rice’s outstanding goal secured a point for us at Old Trafford after we had to come from behind in the second half.
Manchester United and Arsenal drew 1-1at Old Trafford. Arsenal dominated the first half, but United’s Bruno Fernandes opened scoring with a stunning free-kick just before the break. Arsenal continued their aggressive play in the second half, and their persistence paid off when Declan Rice leveled the score in the 74th minute. Both teams showcased their strengths and resilience throughout the match.

David Raya (GK) – 7/10
Raya had a mixed performance. He was caught out of position for Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick goal but redeemed himself with several crucial saves, including a brilliant stop to deny Noussair Mazraoui and another in the dying moments to keep the score level.
Jurrien Timber (RB) – 7/10
Timber was solid defensively and contributed to the attack when possible. He provided the assist for Declan Rice’s equalizer and made some important tackles throughout the match.
William Saliba (CB) – 7/10
Saliba had a steady game, dealing well with United’s attacking threats. He was composed on the ball and made several key interceptions.
Gabriel Magalhaes (CB) – 7/10
Gabriel put in a strong defensive performance, making crucial tackles and clearances. He was instrumental in keeping United’s forwards at bay.
Riccardo Calafiori (LB) – 6/10
Calafiori had a challenging game, struggling to contain the pace of Alejandro Garnacho. He was substituted just before the hour mark after a mixed performance.

Odegaard was creative and industrious, finding pockets of space and linking up play. He tested Andre Onana with a couple of shots and was a constant threat.
Declan Rice (CM) – 8/10
Rice was one of Arsenal’s standout performers. He scored the equalizer with a brilliant strike and made a crucial tackle to deny Rasmus Hojlund late in the game.
Ethan Nwaneri (RW) – 5/10
Nwaneri had a quiet game, struggling to make an impact against Diogo Dalot. He was kept in check for most of the match.
Leandro Trossard (LW) – 6/10
Trossard was lively in the first half but faded as the game progressed. He had a couple of shots but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Mikel Merino (ST) – 6/10
Merino worked hard but found it difficult to break down United’s defense. He had a few chances but couldn’t convert them.

A solid cameo, from left-back, he attempted to get on the ball and give Arsenal some momentum.

Martinelli injected much-needed energy when he came on. He fired a shot over the crossbar in the final moments, although he was offside.
