Arsenal star Ethan Nwaneri’s exceptional performance during England Under-21 duty earlier this week astounded James McAtee.
Manchester City’s James McAtee has expressed admiration for Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri, claiming that the teenager has already reached “world-class” status.
Nwaneri, who has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Arsenal, has been making waves both in the Premier League and Champions League. His performances have not only impressed fans but also caught the attention of fellow England teammate.
McAtee, speaking after England Under-21 duty, revealed his awe at Nwaneri’s skills during training sessions. “He’s a class player and in training he’s been unbelievable,” McAtee said. “I was doing finishing drills with him the other day, and he was ridiculous—he wasn’t missing, both feet as well. He’s a world-class player”.

The Arsenal youngster showcased his talent during England Under-21 matches, including a standout performance against Portugal, where he scored a trademark goal. Cutting in from the right and curling the ball into the far corner, Nwaneri demonstrated his flair and composure on the pitch.
Despite his young age, Nwaneri has already made history as the youngest player to appear in a Premier League match. His rapid development and versatility have made him a key player for Arsenal, earning him comparisons to other football prodigies.
