Arsenal’s lack of clinical finishing was evident in the match against United, and Lineker has pointed out that this has been a recurring issue. He emphasized the importance of investing in a player who can make an immediate impact. While Arsenal has been linked with Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, his £150 million price tag makes a move challenging.
Lineker suggested that Arsenal should look at younger talent with potential, naming Liam Delap as a viable option. Delap, who joined Ipswich for £20 million, has scored eight goals in the Premier League this season and has shown his ability to perform at the top level. Lineker believes that Delap has something special about him and could be a long-term solution for Arsenal.
