Though originally developed as a midfielder, Lewis-Skelly was deployed primarily at left-back by Mikel Arteta, showcasing his versatility and tactical intelligence.
His performances didn’t go unnoticed. He made his senior debut against Manchester City in September and capped off his meteoric rise with a goal on his full England debut in a 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley becoming the youngest player ever to score on their senior debut for the Three Lions.
