Arsenal won 2-0 over Leicester, thanks to a late flurry from teenager Ethan Nwaneri, sending a strong message to Liverpool at the King Power Stadium.

Arsenal secured a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners were without several key forwards due to injuries, but it was the young Ethan Nwaneri who stepped up to inspire the team to victory. Nwaneri provided the assist for both goals, with substitute Mikel Merino scoring a brace off the bench to seal the win.

Here are our players’ ratings.

David Raya (GK) – 6/10: Raya had a quiet outing, forced into a comfortable save by Wilfred Ndidi in the opening exchanges.

William Saliba (CB) – 7/10: Saliba managed to keep Jamie Vardy at bay, ensuring the veteran forward didn’t get a sniff in front of goal.

Gabriel (CB) – 7/10: Gabriel was dominant aerially and looked good on the ball, a performance typical of his usual standards.

Myles Lewis-Skelly (LB) – 6/10: Lewis-Skelly rolled his man on a couple of occasions but wasn’t overly influential on the ball.

Declan Rice (DM) – 6/10: Rice was combative and performed well in and out of possession, but needs to take on more attacking responsibility.

Thomas Partey (DM): 6/10: Partey did a good job in front of Arsenal’s defence, allowing Rice to move forward.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 6/10: Odegaard performed okay but needs to elevate his game further.
