Nuno Tavares began his Nottingham Forest journey with potential, but soon fell out of favor under manager Steve Cooper. Under Nuno Espirito Santos, he made a brief improvement, but his playing time was still limited. Nottingham Forest turned down the chance to sign Tavares permanently for £17 million, regardless of the player’s early potential during his stint.

In an interview with Sport TV in Portugal, Tavares expressed his desire to return to Arsenal. While his representatives have been in contact with other clubs, his priority remains with the Gunners. Tavares emphasized that everyone knows he has another year left on his contract with Arsenal, and he trusts those managing his future decisions
