Laura Woods couldn’t contain her excitement over a delightful gift from Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta following Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over AS Monaco. Arteta surprised Woods with a red, team-branded bag.
Inside the bag was an adorable Arsenal onesie adorned with the team’s emblem. Woods, who is anticipating the birth of her first child with partner Adam Collard, expressed her delight on Instagram, captioning the video with “my club” and “this was amazing, thank you”. She described the onesie as “too cute,” adding a touch of humor to her excitement.
The gesture from Arteta was particularly meaningful for Woods, who has been a long-time Arsenal supporter. The timing of the gift, coming after a significant victory, made it even more special. Woods and Collard, who got engaged in September, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby and have received overwhelming support from the Arsenal community.
Woods is also looking forward to another “present” from Arsenal this weekend: three points against Everton. With the team currently sitting third in the Premier League, a win would be monumental in their pursuit of the title.
