Currently, the loan move is official. As a result, the Estonian goalkeeper departs Arsenal for a season-long spell in Germany, aiming to gain top-flight experience and consistent playing time.
The 23-year-old Estonian international goalkeeper who joined Arsenal in 2018 and has earned over 39 caps for Estonia. Previously, Hein spent a season on loan at Real Valladolid, where he made 32 appearances in La Liga.
Peter Niemeyer, Werder Bremen’s head of professional football, said:
“Karl has already impressed in La Liga and also shown his qualities in the Estonian national team.”
Goalkeeping coach Christian Vander added:
“He’ll heat up the competitive nature of the position.”
