Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Botafogo striker Igor Jesus as they assess their striker options this January transfer window. The Gunners are in need of reinforcements up front due to injuries to key players Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.

Igor Jesus, a 23-year-old Brazilian forward, has been in fine form for Botafogo, helping the club secure two trophies since his arrival last summer. His versatility and ability to play as a central striker or out wide make him an attractive option for Arsenal.

Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs has mentioned Igor Jesus as one of Arsenal’s potential targets, alongside familiar names like Benjamin Sesko and Evan Ferguson. While Sesko is viewed as a long-term target, Arsenal is considering moving forward with their transfer plans due to the current injury situation.

Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has admitted that the club is looking to add a striker this month, and Igor Jesus could be a viable option. The Brazilian’s impressive performances in Brazil and the UAE have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, and Arsenal is keen to explore this opportunity.
