Sterling, who joined Arsenal on loan from Chelsea, was expected to bring experience and goal-scoring prowess to the team. However, he has struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, making just one Premier League start and playing limited minutes in recent matches.
Wright lamented the situation, saying, “He’s not even getting a look in even when we can’t score,” and added, “I genuinely wanted it to work, but it hasn’t clicked yet.” Despite the challenges, Wright remains hopeful that Sterling can still make a significant contribution, especially in crucial matches.
