Gary Lineker UCL predictions, backing Barcelona and PSG to clash in the Champions League final.
Football legend Gary Lineker has shared his UCL predictions for the upcoming Champions League semifinals, identifying the two teams he thinks will advance to the May 31 final in Munich.
While acknowledging the unpredictability of this season’s tournament, Lineker has backed his former club Barcelona Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast to overcome Inter Milan in their second-leg clash at the San Siro.
He also predicts that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will edge past Arsenal, though he admits he would prefer to see the Gunners advance.
The first legs of the semi-finals have left everything wide open. PSG secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, while Barcelona and Inter Milan played out a thrilling 3-3 draw. With both ties delicately poised, Lineker believes Barcelona will prevail in Italy, citing their attacking style and ability to outscore opponents.

Despite predicting a Barcelona vs PSG final, Lineker admitted that he would rather see Arsenal face Barcelona, as he is a strong supporter of English football. However, he remains realistic about the challenge Arsenal faces in overturning their deficit in Paris.
With the second-leg matches approaching, all four teams still have a chance to book their place in the final. Arsenal, despite being the underdogs, remain determined to fight back, with midfielder Mikel Merino expressing confidence in their ability to win in Paris.
