Fulham manager Marco Silva has disclosed that Reiss Nelson will be sidelined for approximately 10 weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Fulham has been dealt a significant blow as they announced that Reiss Nelson will be unavailable for selection until late February due to a hamstring injury. The Arsenal loanee was forced off the pitch during Fulham’s 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion last week and is now expected to miss around 10 weeks of action.

Nelson has been a key player for Fulham since joining on loan in the summer, contributing two goals and one assist in his 13 competitive appearances. His absence will undoubtedly be felt by the team, especially as they navigate a challenging fixture schedule.

Fulham manager Marco Silva expressed his disappointment over the injury but remains optimistic about the team’s prospects. “It’s difficult to have precise timings on this situation,” Silva said. “Reiss Nelson is going to be longer. Probably around 10 weeks, he’ll be out.”

With Nelson out, Fulham will need to rely on other players to step up and fill the void left by the talented winger. The team will face Liverpool at Anfield this weekend and will need to be at their best to secure a positive result.
