Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has advised his former club to make a bid for Benjamin Sesko, identifying the RB Leipzig striker as his ‘ideal signing’ this January.
Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has urged his former club to make a move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, calling him an “incredible” transfer target. Yorke believes that Sesko would be the perfect addition to United’s squad as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
Yorke told CoinCasino.com, “I would love it if Manchester United went and signed Benjamin Sesko. I watched him play recently and he’s a great profile. He’s similar to Alexander Isak but probably cheaper. Sesko has a great presence up front, he’s a big striker with an incredible shot on him. He’s mobile too, which Manchester United need.”
Sesko, 21, has been in impressive form this season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in his opening 17 Bundesliga appearances. His performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, including Arsenal, who are also reportedly interested in the Slovenian striker.
Yorke emphasized the need for a “proper No.9” to solve United’s problems up front, and he believes Sesko fits the bill perfectly. “Sesko would be my ideal signing for Manchester United,” Yorke added.
With United currently struggling in the Premier League and sitting in 13th place, Yorke’s advice comes at a crucial time as the club looks to turn their season around. Sesko’s potential arrival could provide the boost United needs to climb up the table and compete for a Champions League spot.
