Declan Rice labeled Myles Lewis-Skelly ‘ridiculous’ and ‘scary’ after his exceptional performance in Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Tottenham on Wednesday evening.
Declan Rice was full of praise for Arsenal teammate Myles Lewis-Skelly following their 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby. The young left-back, who has been making waves since breaking into the first team, received high praise from Rice for his impressive performance.
“Unbelievable,” Rice told TNT Sports. “For an 18-year-old to play the way he did today, it’s just ridiculous. He has that Moussa Dembele type strength, using his body to get away from players. To show that personality and character at 18 is unbelievable.”

Lewis-Skelly, who has been excelling at left back despite spending most of his academy career as a midfielder, has quickly become a key player for Arsenal. His fearless approach and versatility have earned him comparisons to former Premier League midfielders, and Rice believes the teenager has a bright future ahead.
“It’s scary how good he is,” Rice added. “He’s a midfielder by trade, but he can play multiple roles. Who knows what England holds for him?”
