Since joining Crystal Palace from Blackburn Rovers for around £18 million in January, Wharton has quickly established himself as a key player. His impressive performances have not only earned him a spot in England’s Euro 2024 squad but also caught the eye of top clubs across the league.

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal has already held preliminary talks over potentially signing Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. Wharton, who has quickly established himself as an elite young talent during his time at Selhurst Park, is attracting significant interest from several Premier League clubs.

Arsenal is reportedly keen on securing Wharton’s services, with the Gunners hoping to finalize a deal in the region of €55 million. The club sees Wharton as a potential long-term replacement for midfielders Thomas Partey and Jorginho, whose contracts are nearing expiration.

While Arsenal is actively pursuing Wharton, they face stiff competition from other top clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool. Palace seems resigned to losing their young star, acknowledging the likelihood of a transfer in the near future.
