Brighton has secured the signing of Amario Cozier-Duberry following the expiration of his contract with Arsenal.

The 19-year-old winger, who had been with Arsenal’s youth since September 2019 but had yet to make a first-team appearance, has now joined Brighton on a deal that runs until 2028.

Arsenal offered Amario Cozier-Duberry a contract extension last summer, but he turned it down and notified the club in June that he was departing.

Brighton successfully secured his signature, and their technical director, David Weir, expressed excitement about Cozier-Duberry’s potential to flourish in their environment.

Cozier-Duberry will now link up with his new Brighton teammates ahead of their pre-season tour of Japan and hopes to make an impact in their opening Premier League match against Everton on August 17
