Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares has completed a season-long loan move to Italian side Lazio. The 24-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Benfica in 2021, has struggled to break into Mikel Arteta’s first team and has spent the past two seasons on loan, first at Marseille and then at Nottingham Forest.
While Tavares impressed during his initial campaign at Arsenal, he has found regular playing time elusive since then.
Lazio’s deal for the Portuguese defender includes an option to buy depending on ‘particular sporting conditions.’
