Arsenal winger Cloe Lacasse is expected to depart the club this summer after just one season in North London, with a move to the NWSL on the horizon. The 31-year-old is seeking more consistent playing time to maintain her spot on the Canadian National Team and to be closer to her family.

According to a report from Arseblog Lacasse is expected to depart this transfer window after just one season at the club.

Arsenal will receive a substantial transfer fee for Lacasse, likely surpassing the amount they paid Benfica last summer. Despite scoring three goals and providing two assists in six WSL starts last season, Lacasse struggled to secure regular minutes ahead of Caitlin Foord and Beth Mead.

Arsenal has strengthened their attacking line this summer with the signings of Mariona Caldentey from Barcelona and Rosa Kafaji from BK Hacken. Additionally, Gio has left the club for a permanent move to Atletico Madrid. The departure for Lacasse is expected to be finalized soon, following her post-Olympics holiday.
