Chelsea place £50m valuation in latest Madueke transfer talks as Arsenal initiate negotiations for the England winger.

Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £50 million price tag on winger Noni Madueke amid growing interest from Arsenal. The Gunners, eager to bolster their attacking options following a near miss in the Premier League title race, have begun talks with their cross-town rivals about a possible summer transfer.

Madueke, 23, enjoyed a productive season at Stamford Bridge, notching 16 goal contributions in 41 appearances and helping Chelsea lift the Europa Conference League trophy. His performances also earned him a debut for the England national team, further raising his profile on the international stage.

Despite his rising stock, Chelsea are reportedly open to offers for the former PSV Eindhoven star, who joined the Blues in January 2023 for £30 million. Arsenal’s interest in Madueke transfer talks intensified after missing out on long-time target Nico Williams, who is expected to join Barcelona.

However, the £50 million valuation has given Arsenal pause. While Madueke is seen as a versatile and dynamic option—capable of playing on either wing—his inconsistency and injury history have made the Gunners hesitant to meet Chelsea’s full asking price.

Still, the transfer saga is far from over. With Chelsea eyeing reinforcements of their own and Arsenal keeping tabs on other wide players like Rodrygo and Anthony Gordon, the situation remains fluid. Should Chelsea soften their stance or Arsenal return with a revised offer, Madueke could yet make the switch across London before the window closes.

However, the England winger remains with Chelsea, currently participating in the Club World Cup, but his future could hinge on how negotiations evolve in the coming weeks.
