Reports suggest that Wolfsburg is keen to make his loan deal permanent for a fee of around €15 million (£12.6m) this summer. However, the club is reportedly open to selling him if they receive an offer in the region of €35 million (£29.5m) before the transfer deadline.
When asked about the speculation linking him to Arsenal, Amoura remained focused on his current club.
“I’m fully focused on the here and now,” he told German publication Kicker. “I’m very grateful to Wolfsburg – the club has placed its trust in me. My goal is to continue developing. What matters to me is my performance on the pitch and what I can contribute to the team.”
Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, is actively searching for attacking reinforcements after another trophyless campaign. The club has reportedly made an enquiry about Amoura’s availability, alongside interest from Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, and Bayer Leverkusen.
While Amoura remains committed to Wolfsburg for now, Arsenal’s pursuit of attacking talent continues. The Gunners are said to be prioritizing a move for Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, with a potential £60 million deal in the works.
