Man United Legend Slams Bukayo Saka, Endorses Better Winger Alternatives

Bukayo Saka criticism

Paul Parker fuels Bukayo Saka criticism, claiming he’s overrated and backing Noni Madueke and Estêvão Willian as better winger options.

Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has stirred controversy with his recent criticism about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka. Despite Saka’s impressive Premier League record and international appearances, Parker believes the young star is overrated.

He told WhichBookie:
“I just don’t get the hype around him. I really don’t understand it.”

Parker argues that Saka lacks the pace and unpredictability needed to trouble defenders. He also criticized Saka’s tendency to cut inside rather than take on opponents directly, making him easier to defend against.

Injury Concerns and Guaranteed Selection

Another point Parker raised was Saka’s frequent injuries. He suggested that Saka’s automatic inclusion in Arsenal’s starting lineup may contribute to an inflated perception of his abilities. According to Parker, defenders have already figured out how to contain him.

Instead of Saka, Parker highlighted two wingers he believes are more effective:

  • Noni Madueke (Arsenal)
Parker praised Madueke’s direct style and ability to beat defenders. He said Madueke “strikes fear into defenders” and is more dynamic than Saka.
  •  Estêvão Willian (Chelsea)
The young Brazilian talent was also endorsed by Parker. He emphasized Estêvão’s pace, versatility, and ability to stretch defenses, calling him a more dangerous option.

A Divisive Take That Sparks Debate

Paul Parker’s comments have reignited debate among fans and pundits. While many see Bukayo Saka as one of England’s brightest talents, Parker’s critique offers a contrasting view that challenges the mainstream narrative.

Paul Parker’s criticism of Bukayo Saka and his endorsement of Noni Madueke and Estêvão Willian adds fuel to the ongoing debate about England’s best wingers. Whether fans agree or not, his comments are sure to keep the conversation going.
