Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has delivered a message of resilience and determination to his squad ahead of their Premier League clash against Liverpool. Despite facing significant injury setbacks, Arteta emphasized that the team cannot afford to dwell on their misfortunes.

Arsenal has had several key players injured, including Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Jurrien Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori. These absences have tested the squad’s depth and adaptability. However, Arteta remains steadfast in his belief that the team must rise to the challenge and maintain their focus.

“Every team goes through periods where they have injuries. It’s part of football,” Arteta said in a recent press conference. “We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. We have to focus on what we can control and make sure we are prepared to give our best on the pitch.”

Arteta also highlighted the importance of a positive mentality within the squad. “We have a talented group of players who are ready to step up. Injuries are unfortunate, but they also present opportunities for others to show what they can do. We need to stay united and confident in our abilities.”

Arsenal’s upcoming match against Liverpool will be a significant test of their resilience. With both teams competing for top positions in the league, Arteta’s words serve as a rallying cry for his players and fans alike. “We have to stick together, work hard, and believe in ourselves. That’s the only way we can overcome these challenges and achieve our goals.”
