Arsenal have submitted an initial bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, but their loan offer for the Serbia international striker has been rejected by the Serie A giants.
Arsenal’s bid to secure Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic on loan has been rejected, according to reports from FootballTransfers.com. Arsenal had hoped to bring in the Serbian forward to bolster their attacking options, especially with injuries to key players like Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Sakai.
Arsenal made an initial offer to Juventus for a loan deal involving Vlahovic, but the Serie A giants turned it down. Juventus is reportedly seeking an outright sale or at least an obligation to buy as part of any temporary deal. This stance has complicated negotiations, as Arsenal is not willing to commit to a permanent transfer at this stage.
Dusan Vlahovic has been a consistent performer for Juventus, scoring 12 goals in 24 appearances this season. His speed and goal-scoring ability make him an attractive target for Arsenal, who are in need of reinforcements up front. However, the club’s reluctance to meet Juventus’ demands has put a temporary halt to the deal.
Despite the setback, Arsenal has not ruled out revisiting the possibility of signing Vlahovic later in the transfer window. The club is also considering other targets, including RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, who is not available until the end of the season.
The rejection of Arsenal’s loan offer for Dusan Vlahovic highlights the challenges clubs face in the transfer market. With the Premier League title still within reach, Arsenal will need to explore other options to strengthen their squad.
