Ethan Nwaneri has excelled for England at the U-17 level, demonstrating his talent and potential. Meanwhile, Myles Lewis-Skelly showed off his composure and skill in possession against Bayer Leverkusen. Both players have impressed Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, and are pushing for spots in the senior team.

When asked about the duo at full-time, Arteta stated Arsenal will not put any restrictions on what the two can acheive.

β€œIf they continue like they are doing right now. There is no difference whether they come from the academy or we sign them from Germany or Argentina or Italy,” he said at his post-match press conference.

β€œIf they are showing the quality that they have, the personality they have to play at this level… let’s see. Why would we put any restrictions? If they deserve minutes, they get minutes.”
