Arsenal boss Renée Slegers has been nominated for Barclays Women’s Super League Manager of the Month for the second consecutive month.

Arsenal Women’s interim head coach Renée Slegers has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Manager of the Month for December. This nomination comes after an impressive run of form for the Gunners, who have gone unbeaten in their last 11 games across all competitions.

In December, Arsenal recorded two wins from two WSL matches, both of which included clean sheets. These performances have kept the team within striking distance of league leaders Manchester City, now just a point behind.

Slegers is up against tough competition for the award, with Manchester United’s Marc Skinner and Tottenham Hotspur’s Robert Vilahamn also in the running. However, her leadership and tactical acumen have been instrumental in Arsenal’s recent success, earning her this well-deserved recognition.
