Arsenal Urged to Lower Fabio Vieira Demands Amid Summer Clear-Out

Fabio Vieira transfer talks

Arsenal face pressure to lower Fabio Vieira’s transfer fee as Stuttgart circle, with the Gunners planning a major squad clear-out to fund new signings.

Arsenal are being urged to reduce their asking price for midfielder Fabio Vieira transfer fee as part of a major summer squad overhaul. The North London club is actively looking to offload fringe players to fund new signings, and Vieira is one of the top names on the exit list.

Arsenal have already spent heavily this summer, with new arrivals pushing their transfer budget close to £200 million. To balance the books, the club is now focused on selling players who are no longer part of Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.

Fabio Vieira’s Struggle at Arsenal

Fabio Vieira joined Arsenal from Porto in 2022 but has struggled to make a consistent impact. Despite showing flashes of creativity, injuries and limited playing time have stalled his progress. A loan spell back at Porto last season offered some hope, but the Portuguese side could not afford a permanent deal.

Stuttgart Interested in Fabio Vieira Transfer

German club Stuttgart have shown strong interest in signing Fabio Vieira. However, Arsenal’s £25 million valuation is proving to be a stumbling block. Stuttgart are reportedly only willing to pay up to £17 million, including add-ons. If Arsenal do not lower their demands, the deal could collapse.

Vieira is not the only player Arsenal are looking to sell. The club is planning to offload several squad members to reduce wage bills and create space for new signings. Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Jakub Kiwior and Karl Hein are all expected to leave.

The Fabio Vieira transfer news highlights a key challenge for Arsenal this summer. Holding out for a high fee may backfire if interested clubs walk away. Lowering the price could help Arsenal move forward with their squad rebuild and avoid being stuck with players who won’t feature regularly.
