Arsenal Women have confirms the signing of Hacken’s attacking midfielder Rosa Kafaji.

The 21-year-old Stockholm native was Hacken’s top scorer last season, netting 15 goals, including four in the Champions League group stages against teams like PSG, Real Madrid, and Chelsea. Kafaji is Arsenal’s third summer signing, following Mariona Caldentey and Daphne van Domselaar.

Kafaji replaces Vivianne Miedema, who joined Manchester City on a free transfer earlier this summer after her release from the Gunners.

“It feels amazing to join this club – I’m so happy to be here,” Rosa said. “After speaking to Jonas and Clare, I had a very good feeling, and it just feels right to be at Arsenal. I’m eager to keep growing and know this is the right place to compete for the biggest trophies. I can’t wait to get started and walk out at Emirates Stadium in front of all our supporters.”

“She’s (Kafaji) one of the most exciting young talents in the world and I’ve been a keen admirer of her game for a number of years,” said Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall.
