Zinchenko transfer talks intensify as Arsenal set a £17 million price tag amid growing interest from AC Milan.
Arsenal have reportedly placed a £17 million valuation on Oleksandr Zinchenko as transfer talks gain momentum with AC Milan showing strong interest. The 28-year-old Ukrainian full-back, who joined the Gunners from Manchester City in 2022, could be heading for a summer departure after slipping down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta.
Zinchenko’s influence in the dressing room and his tactical versatility have been praised during his three-year stint in North London. However, the emergence of academy talent Myles Lewis-Skelly and the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna have limited his opportunities in the starting.

With his contract set to expire in 2026, Arsenal are reportedly open to cashing in now rather than risk losing him for free later. AC Milan, in search of a replacement for Theo Hernandez—who is expected to join Al-Hilal—have identified Zinchenko as a prime target and a deal in region of €17m enough to get the deal done, according to Corriere Dello Sport. The club’s sporting director, Igli Tare, is said to be in contact with intermediaries managing the potential transfer.
While Milan are prepared to meet Arsenal’s asking price, Zinchenko’s wage demands remain a sticking point. Despite this, the player is reportedly open to the move, motivated by the prospect of regular first-team football ahead of the new season.
Should the deal go through, it would mark a new chapter for Zinchenko in Serie A, while Arsenal would free up space and funds to continue reshaping their squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
