With a 7–1 lead from the first leg, Arsenal made several changes to their starting lineup. Oleksandr Zinchenko opened the scoring in the 6th minute, firing a long-range strike into the net after a clever assist from Raheem Sterling.

Rice Restores Lead Before Halftime

PSV equalized briefly, but Arsenal responded quickly. In the 37th minute, Declan Rice headed in Sterling’s pinpoint cross to make it 2–1 at the break.
