Arsenal scouts have been spotted at several Juventus games this season, closely monitoring the progress of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic. Former Manchester United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown has exclusively told Football Insider that Arsenal is putting together a comprehensive package to present to the manager.
This increased attention comes after Arsenal missed out on signing Vlahovic in 2021 when he chose to remain in Italy. Despite his current contract with Juventus running until 2026, negotiations for an extension have hit a roadblock. Juventus is also looking to reduce their wage bill, which could make Vlahovic available for a reasonable fee.
Vlahovic has been in impressive form this season, scoring 11 goals in 19 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League. Arsenal sees him as a potential solution to their offensive struggles and is considering making a move for him in the January transfer window.
